Flora and Fauna
Black Kites are soaring all around the trail. They are very common and are definitely going to say hello to you on the hike. They are called Black Kites but actually as you can see they are dark brown.
|
Bees aren’t that common on the trail, but there were still a few of them. They live in tropical climate and forested places like in the woods. They prefer living in the woodlands, gardens or areas where there are flowers.
|
Galinsoga quadriradiata is a type of flower you can see during the wilson trail hike. The size of it is quite small. It has a round centre filled with a lot of disc florets mostly with bright yellow. It has five white ray florets around the bright yellow centre. |
There are many wildflowers on The Wilson Trail hike like this beautiful purple one. Such magnificent Flora can also be found in other trails in Hong Kong.
